LUIS J. TORRES LLOMPART (Luis)
Luis is the Director of the Business and Management Consulting Services Division of Alvarado Tax & Business Advisors LLC. He specializes in providing consulting services in business, government, financial and operational areas, auditing, accounting systems, financial reporting, and others.
His industry experience is varied, including, among others, welfare funds, construction, government agencies and municipalities, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and wholesale, insurance, and pension.
Luis was Vice Chairman of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, Member of the Puerto Rico Board of Accountancy, Delegate of the White House Conference on Small Business Administration (SBA), and former part-time professor at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico and is a certified public accountant in Puerto Rico, Florida, New York and New Jersey. Is a member of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examiners and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
